Born in Milan in 1966, she graduated with honours in political economy at Bocconi University in 1989.

Involved since then in management consulting and research. She has gained specific experience in finance, risk analysis and sustainability.

Member of the Board of Directors of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A. since April 2018.

Biffi is an independent director of FinecoBank (as Chairperson of the Appointments Committee and member of the Risk and Related Party Committee) and liquidator of La Concordia S.p.A. in compulsory liquidation.
